Our Choir Society
Cantaré Children's Choir is supported in its endeavours through the hard work and dedication of many volunteers who eagerly offer their assistance and leadership to the choir. Cantaré Children’s Choir Society is the organization formed by parents and community volunteers to share in implementing the vision of this unique choral program. CCCS is incorporated as a non-profit society in the province of Alberta and recognized by Revenue Canada as a charitable organization. The Society provides enrichment opportunities through its fundraising endeavours and leadership to support the choir in its many and varied activities.
Volunteers within the Society’s committees make vital contributions by:
- Helping to implement the program’s artistic and educational goals and sharing responsibilities as supporter, organizers and supervisors.
- Initiating community and corporate fundraising for performances, workshops, tours and diverse activities such as the commissioning of new Canadian choral works.
-
Fostering a team spirit and working to build and sustain the choir’s reputation at home and abroad.
