JUNE: Sixth Sense!
Our senior ensembles, Cantare and Cantando, were thrilled to present their season-closing performance together at SIXTH SENSE!
Cantare was coming fresh off their performance tour of Medicine Hat and South-East Alberta with Cantiga and performed a selection of works from their overall year music folder, small images of all of the material they have learned in the last season. As is becoming a tradition for our June performance, Cantare was joined on-stage by our Cantiga Apprentices who have now officially ‘graduated’ from Cantiga and will join Cantare next fall!
Cantando was thrilled to close out their inaugural season by showcasing classics by Brahms, Fauré, Eric Whitacre. We are so proud of our young adult singers for all of their effort throughout this year. We know there are many more exciting things coming from this group!
Cantare and Cantando joined together to present SIMPLE SONGS: the wonderful three-song collection by former Cantare Composer-In-Residence: John Burge!
As our 2025-2026 season comes to an end, we want to say an enormous THANK YOU to all of our friends, family, supporters and community members who have cheered us on through an amazing season of singing!
